MAANO HAIR TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read this document carefully as it contains important information about your rights, obligations, limitations, and exclusions that apply to your interactions with our salon and services.
SALON ETIQUETTE:
- We kindly ask that you eat before coming to your appointment, as we do not permit heavy meals inside the salon. However, light snacks and drinks are allowed.
- Please refrain from bringing a plus one unless it’s absolutely necessary, as space within the salon is limited.
- Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the salon unless necessary, due to health, safety concerns, and time management during your hair service.
- We ask that all clients treat our stylists and beauticians with respect and kindness. Verbal abuse or threats will not be tolerated.
PAYMENT TERMS:
- We accept all major credit cards through Stripe. When placing an order online, your card will be charged immediately. We take credit card fraud seriously and will pursue legal action if any merchandise is stolen or fraudulently purchased.
- If your billing address differs from your shipping address, we will require you to complete a credit card authorization form and provide supporting documents before we can process your order.
SERVICE BOOKINGS & DEPOSIT:
- A £20 deposit is required for each service when booking an appointment. You will be asked to create an account via our booking system, Vagaro. After booking, you can manage all your appointments through your account.
- The deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. You can reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled time. Failure to reschedule or show up will result in the loss of your deposit. If you still wish to book, a new £20 deposit is required.
LATE POLICY:
- We offer a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals. If you’re more than 10 minutes late and we can accommodate you, a £15 late fee will apply. If we cannot fit you in, your appointment will be canceled, and you will receive a notification via email, text, or phone call.
CANCELLATIONS & NO-SHOW POLICY:
- You may cancel your appointment, but the £20 deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances. We recommend rescheduling or selecting another service before the 24-hour grace period to avoid losing your deposit.
MAANO SERVICES:
- All hair, services are final. We ensure that you are fully informed about the service you are booking, including its expected outcomes. We will always confirm that you are happy to proceed. Any requested changes after you’ve left the salon will incur an additional fee.
- We do not provide refunds for any services rendered.
MAANO HAIR PRODUCTS:
- We aim to match your hair specifications as closely as possible. However, because our natural hair is 100% virgin human hair from different donors, variations in texture and color are possible. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for dissatisfaction with hair texture, color, or common issues like shedding.
MAANO WIGS SERVICES:
- MAANO Wigs: These are pre-made units available for purchase. We do not offer refunds or returns once the unit is shipped, but we can make alterations if needed, for an additional charge.
- Create Your Own Wig: Custom-made wigs are produced based on your specifications. This service may take 3-10 business days, and during busy periods, a longer timeframe will be communicated. We do not offer refunds or returns for custom wigs, but alterations are available for an additional fee.
ORDER PROCESSING:
- Our working hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Orders placed before 2:00 PM, Monday to Thursday, will be processed the same day. Orders made on weekends will be processed the following Monday.
- Hair lengths over 20” are pre-ordered, and processing may take up to 3-6 business days.
PRE-ORDERS:
- Pre-order items require full payment upfront. Delivery times will be communicated during the ordering process.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY:
- If an item is out of stock or unavailable, we will contact you to offer a replacement. If a replacement is not suitable, you may choose to cancel the order for a full refund.
RETURN POLICY:
- We maintain high-quality standards and inspect all products before shipment. Returns are accepted only on unused, unworn items in their original condition within 5 days of receiving the order.
- No returns are allowed on wigs or units. Used or altered products (e.g., washed, combed, or cut) are not eligible for return.
REFUNDS:
- We only offer refunds for unused hair and merchandise, not for services or units. Refunds can take up to 7 working days to process.
EXCHANGE POLICY:
- Exchanges are accepted within 5 days of receiving your product, provided the items are unused and in original condition. Shipping costs for returns and exchanges are the customer’s responsibility.
REPLACEMENTS:
- If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 5 working days. We will guide you on returning the product for further inspection. If the defect is confirmed, we will either refund or replace the item.
SHIPPING DELAYS:
- We advise placing orders in advance, especially during busy periods or before important events. While we strive to ship on time, shipping delays due to weather, holidays, or courier issues are not covered by us.
LOST OR DELAYED PARCELS:
- Parcels within the UK are sent via Royal Mail, and international orders are shipped via DHL. We are not responsible for lost or delayed parcels due to courier errors. In such cases, you must wait 30 days before filing a claim.
FAILED DELIVERIES & INCORRECT ADDRESSES:
- Ensure that your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not liable for missed or refused deliveries. If your package is returned due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees will apply.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS:
- International orders may require customs clearance, and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay any additional customs fees or charges.
